I personally love these berries as a snack on road trips, because they really do make you feel relaxed. Travelling can make you feel contracted, and I love how these berries release the contraction. The other snack foods I make are rice balls, or onigiri. For sweets, I always carry local fruit and lots of water.
I’m on a road trip this week. We are going from Riyadh to Jeddah, then driving from Jeddah to Medina, Medina to Makkah and then finally from Makkah to Jeddah, before flying back to Riyadh. Lol did you get all that? Oh, and this will be done in 40 hours, door to door.
This is the first chance that I’ll actually be deep in the wilderness of Saudi Arabia, and this is actually quite a scary thought. Will there be wild animals? Wild people? Thankfully, I have a great group of people I’m travelling with, so inshallah it all goes well.
