Clearspring Organic Oolong tea is safe to buy

The Saudi Food and Drugs Authority banned the sale of Oolong tea in the Kingdom after excessive levels of pesticides were found in certain brands, specifically Wulong and Oolong brands.

In a statement posted on the agency’s website, the SFDA said pesticides such as the Chlorpyrifos, Chlorfenapyr, Diphenylamine and Lambda-cyhalothrin found in Oolong samples exceeded tolerable limits.

With the current horse meat fiasco in Europe, announcements like these really make us think about what’s in our food, and can we really trust the origin country.

On another note, if you love Oolong tea, the best company to buy it from is Clearspring. Clearspring also sell organic Oolong tea, along with a range of other great teas. Unfortunately, you can only buy the teas online.
