The Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Arabian Horse Festival (PSAIAHF), formerly known as the Al-Khaledia Horse Festival, occurs at the end of January every year. (It was renamed in honour of Prince Sultan who passed away in 2011). It’s a 5-day show with endurance, a horse show and racing events.
The 2014 dates are from 27 January 2014 – 31 January 2014.
The goal of this festival is to show the importance and significance of the Arabian Horse as part of Saudi’s history. The first day has the endurance ride, a racing display of Arabian racehorses on the second; while the final three days will be the Horse Show, “…displaying the true beauty and elegance of these majestic animals.”
To enter your horse (s), the following information should be helpful.
Endurance Cup – entries open on 1st December and close on 15th December.
Horse Racing – entries open from 1st December and close on 15th December.
Horse Show – entry conditions and qualification rules
